How long is the charter?
• The length of the Private Charter is completely customiseable – Minimum 3 hours. Most people select 3-6 hours.
Where can I get picked up from?
• We can collect you from any public pontoon along the river. We often recommend City Botanic Gardens, Riverhub or Howard Smith Wharves or Hamilton.
How many people does the boat hold?
• We have two boats that can cater up to 20 – 38 guests.
What do I get for my money?
• The price includes a Skipper, Deckhand, fuel, 2x eskies, 2 bags of ice (if required) and priority seating in the venues.
Can I play my own music?
• Yes, all boats have Spotify integrated to tablets that play over the audio system.
Can we BYO food and drink?
• Yes, however, we have a strict no glass policy. Our staff will reject any attempts to bring glass on the boats.
Can we drop off our drinks prior to the charter?
• No, you will need to bring your food and drink with you on the day.
How big are the eskies?
• Our eskies cater for about 100x standard beer cans.
How many venues can I visit?
• You may visit as many venues as time permits however, we recommend one less venue than the number of hours booked to allow for some boat time i.e., 3-hour charter = 2 venues, 4-hour charter = 3 venues.
What venues can we go to?
We recommend:
• BrewDog, Brew Barons and Sealegs for breweries.
• Mary Maes, Will & Flow, Lawn and Medley for cocktail bars.
Can we order food at the venues?
• Yes, we suggest you pre order directly with the venue (especially during the Christmas period)
Do we get complimentary drinks like the public tours?
• No.
What happens if the forecast is rain?
• We endeavour to run all of our tours unless it is unsafe to do so. Should a tour be cancelled, you will be notified at least 48 hours prior to travel.
How much space is on the boat?
• You can view our boats on our website. They are designed for fast bay crossings with rowed seating. There is space to move about however, there is no space for a table setting unless organised prior.
How long is the charter?
• The length of the Private Charter is completely customisable – Minimum 4 hours. Most people select 4-6 hours. We recommend the 6-hour option to maximise your island time!
Where can I get picked up from?
• We can collect you from any public pontoon along the river, however, the quickest way out to the Bay is from Northshore Harbour, Hamilton.
How many people does the boat hold?
• We have two boats that can cater for up to 20 – 38 guests.
What do I get for my money?
• The price includes a Skipper, Deckhand, fuel, 2x eskies, 2 bags of ice (if required.). We can also supply beach games, cool cabanas, snorkel equipment and a table upon request.
Can I play my own music?
• Yes, all boats have Spotify integrated to tablets that play over the audio system.
Can we BYO food and drink?
• Yes, however, we have a strict no glass policy. Our staff will reject any attempts to bring glass on the boats. We can also supply a small BBQ if necessary.
Can we drop off our drinks prior to the charter?
• No, you will need to bring your food and drink with you on the day.
How big are the eskies?
• Our eskies cater for about 100x standard beer cans.
How long does it take to get to Moreton?
• It takes 60 minutes from Northshore Harbour, Hamilton and about 2 hours from City Botanic Gardens Riverhub (due to speed limits along the river).
What are the package options?
• We recommend cruising across the beautiful waters of Moreton Bay to either Tangalooma wrecks or Peel Island for some snorkelling and/or beach time (time permitting) and lunch at Little Ship Club, Sealevel 21 or even Straddie Brewing Co.! We can even take you to an Oyster farm for some of the freshest oysters you will ever try!
What should we bring?
• Bring whatever you would usually bring for a day at the beach! Towels, sunscreen, water etc.
What happens if the forecast is rain?
• As long as it is safe to cross, we will travel as the weather could be different on the Island. You will receive 48hrs notice if the forecast is unfavourable.
Can we visit Tangalooma Resort?
• Unfortunately, we do not have access to the resort or any of its facilities or activities.
