TERMS & CONDITIONS

All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST, National Park entry fees, professional skipper and tour guide, meals as indicated on tour summary, snorkel, and safety gear as required by tours. All online bookings are subject to 1.9% one-time booking fee at the checkout.

We reserve the right to alter the itinerary booked as deemed appropriate by our staff due to COVID restrictions, weather, season, winds, tides, destination capacity or other relevant factors.  We will make all reasonable efforts to ensure the tour presents an equivalent adventure experience to that advertised.

Guests should not travel if they have flu or COVID symptoms such as fever or sore throat or if they have been in contact with a COVID positive person in the last 2 weeks.

Guests should note that this is an adventure boat tour, and as such, contains inherent risks such as seasickness, exposure to elements, injury or, in extreme cases drowning. Participation is at the guests’ own risk in terms of personal safety and the safety of any possessions taken on the tour.

River to Bay and its accepts no liability for any loss, damage, or injury suffered by any guest as a result of or in connection to the guests’ participation in a River to Bay tour.  It is a condition of the tour that all guests complete and sign an indemnity form.

To keep our cruises on schedule, all guests need to be at the pickup point on time. River to Bay is not liable for the return costs of guests that arrive late at the pickup points or choose to return by different means.

Passengers under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Passengers accompanying a minor are responsible for their safety at all times.

Please take care of your property.  River to Bay and its staff are not liable for any accidental injury to passengers or any loss or damage to possessions.

River to Bay reserves the right to record your photo, voice, or video for publishing, advertising, marketing and publicity without compensation, payment or limitation.

In the case of imposed Government Restrictions:
River To Bay aim to treat all customers compassionately and fairly given these exceptional circumstances. In the case of imposed Government Restrictions leading to the cancellation of tours, all ticket holders will be offered an alternative travel date or credit in form of a gift card to be valid for up to 3 years.

If tours are not impacted by imposed Government Restrictions and ticketholders wish to reschedule due to their personal safety and risk reduction, River To Bay are happy to provide a credit in the form of a gift card or a rescheduling of the tour.

This policy is in line with ACCC’s advice for consumers and businesses on their rights and obligations. If ticketholders have any concerns they wish to raise regarding this policy, we encourage you to contact River To Bay directly.

 

BREWERY TOURS

If you decide to cancel your tour, refunds will not be permitted. You may however, request a reschedule.

Should you be deemed intoxicated, the crew have the right to refuse you entry back on board the vessel.

Should you be refused entry into one of the venues, you will be unable to continue the tour – no refunds or reschedule will be given (including tours with any inclusions).

Cancellations

  • Less than 48 hours prior to travel date – 100% cancellation fee
  • No Show – 100% cancellation fee
  • All tours and activities are subject to weather/tidal conditions.
  • River To Bay reserves the right to change/cancel activities in the event of extreme/unsafe conditions.

Rescheduling

  • Rescheduling 48 hours prior to a tour will incur a 50% fee
  • River to Bay will, to the best of its ability, give guests at least 72-hour notice of a cancelled tour and attempt to reschedule you to the next available date

ISLAND TOURS

Cancellations

  • Less than 48 hours prior to travel date – 100% cancellation fee
  • No Show – 100% cancellation fee
  • All tours and activities are subject to weather/tidal conditions.

Rescheduling

  • River to Bay will, to the best of its ability, give guests at least 72-hour notice of a cancelled tour and attempt to reschedule you to the next available date

Children’s pricing applies for children under 15 years of age.  Family pricing includes two adults and two children.  River to Bay tours are not recommended for children under 5 years of age.

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before departure will not be refunded.  We will depart in any weather that is deemed safe for the boat and our guests, but weather will impact on the nature of the tour.  No refunds will be provided due to the impact of the weather on a tour.

 

CHARTERS

Upon booking your private charter, you will be required to make a 50% non-refundable deposit that will secure the date and vessel for your charter.  If you decide to cancel your private charter, refunds will not be permitted after the final amount has been paid. You may, however, request a reschedule. Should you be deemed intoxicated, the crew have the right to refuse you entry back on board the vessel. Should you be refused entry into one of the venues, you will be unable to continue the charter – no refunds or reschedule will be given.

You can request a reschedule if:

  • Notice is 30 days or greater prior to travel date
  • Tour is impacted by Government enforced restrictions

All tours and activities are subject to weather/tidal conditions. River To Bay reserves the right to change/cancel activities in the event of extreme/unsafe conditions. No Shows will incur a 100% cancellation fee
